Connect Revolut Account to Moreta

Updated over a week ago

Revolut accounts in the EU and UK opened after February 2024 stopped issuing account and routing numbers, so they won’t be able to be connected.

However, U.S. accounts can still be linked manually.

1. Add a bank

Head to your profile page, press ‘Add a bank’, and follow the steps from Plaid.

2. Link with account numbers

Scroll past the suggested banks and tap ‘Link with account numbers’ at the bottom.

3. Account & routing number

On the Revolut app, go to ‘Accounts’ below your balance, select ‘USD’, and tap ‘Details’. Be sure to note your account and routing number for future reference.

4. Routing number

Enter your Revolut routing number found on the ‘Details’ page in your Revolut app.

5. Use account number

Skip the recommended institutions and tap ‘Enter account number instead’ at the bottom of the screen.

6. Account number

Enter your Revolut account number found on the ‘Details’ page in your Revolut app.

7. Checking account

When prompted to choose an account type, select ‘Checking’.

8. Wait to verify

You’ll need to wait one business day to receive a 0.01 USD deposit in your Revolut account for verification.

9. Deposit received

After one business day, you should receive a 0.01 USD deposit in your Revolut account. The deposit will start with a short 3-letter verification code.

10. Verify account

Once you receive the 3-letter verification code, go back to your profile page to verify your new bank account.

11. Enter verification code

In Plaid, you'll be prompted to enter the 3-letter verification code from your Revolut deposit.

12. Success!

After submitting the 3-letter code, your Revolut account will be successfully connected to Moreta.
