This is article #1 in a 3-part series

Mosa Mack Science is optimal when each student has a device.

To begin, create your classrooms and invite students. (this article goes over how)

Lesson 1

  1. With each student logged into their device, have students work collaboratively in groups of 3-4 to complete the vocabulary mind map. Though each student will have their own map, encourage students to explain to one another, their reasoning behind matching certain terms to definitions, and certain definitions to certain images.

2. Have students watch the mystery in groups of 3-4. Have students work on episode questions in groups or individually. Each student will record their own answers into the answer boxes. When students answers have been submitted, you will receive a notification.

3. Have students complete the quiz individually. If you'd like to allow your students to take the quiz more than once, you can do so in your settings. This article goes over how.

4. After the quiz, students may view the answer video as a group.

Note: In a flipped classroom, the steps above may be adjusted to be completed individually at home before class.
