How to Delete Your Moves Account and Data

At Moves, we value your privacy and believe you should have control over your personal information. You always have the option to delete your account and all associated data — but please read carefully before proceeding.

⚠️ Important reminders:

  • Deleting your account is permanent. All workout history, progress, subscriptions, and one-time purchases (like Tighter Together challenges) will be erased and cannot be recovered.

  • Deleting your account does not cancel billing. If you have an active subscription, you must cancel it separately (through Moves, Apple, or Google) to stop future charges.

For most people, canceling a subscription (instead of deleting your account) is the better choice — it stops billing while preserving your history so you can return anytime.

Canceling vs. Deleting: What’s the Difference?

  • Cancel Subscription: Stops future charges but keeps your account and workout history. You can come back anytime and pick up where you left off.

  • Delete Account: Permanently removes your account and all data. This action cannot be undone.
    ⚠️ Important: Deleting your account does not stop billing. If you have an active subscription, you must cancel it separately to avoid future charges.

How to Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Moves account in two ways:

Option 1: From the Moves App (iOS or Android)

  1. Open the Moves App

  2. Go to the Profile tab (bottom right corner)

  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account

  4. Follow the prompts to confirm your request

Your account and data will be permanently removed.

Option 2: Request Deletion Outside the App

If you prefer not to use the app, you can request deletion by:

Be sure to include the email address linked to your Moves account so we can verify ownership.

Option 3: From the Billing Portal (after subscription ends)

  1. Go to movesapp.com and click Login (top right)

  2. Sign in, then click your Profile icon → Billing Information

  3. If you have an active subscription, cancel it first and wait until it fully expires

  4. Once your plan has ended, return to Billing Information and select Delete My Account


Final Considerations

  • Permanent: Once deleted, your account and data cannot be recovered.

  • Subscription Status: You must cancel your subscription before account deletion can be completed.
