What’s the process for selling to MPB?

MPB is the largest global platform to buy, sell and trade used photo and video gear. We are the simple, safe and circular way to trade, upgrade and get paid.

  1. Get a free instant quote
    When you sell to MPB, you can get a free instant quote at any time by entering any model name and its estimated condition. MPB Re.Value dynamic pricing engine will instantly provide you with a quote.

2. Book your free shipping/drop off

Book your free shipping via our courier DHL and select how many parcels you have. You can choose to take your kit to a drop off point via a local courier/DHL Paket, (please note this could be a post office in some cases), or you can book a free home collection from your address with DHL Express. Enter your full address and pick a date that works for you.

Drop Off
Box up your kit safely and securely and add the shipping details to the box including your unique reference number for each item that you are sending to us. You will need a printer for this step. Once you have printed your label you can take your item(s) to your nearest postal office (Please check your shipping label to determine which courier to ship with).

DHL have produced a handy Packing Guide which will help you to pack your item(s) safely.

Home Collection

Hand the box over to our couriers for shipment to MPB. They’ll email or text you with the tracking information. Our DHL courier service is trackable once the items have been logged as received by DHL into the courier system.

3. Get paid.

  • Once each item arrives at one of our Circular Commerce Centres, we will notify you by email. The item is assessed by a product specialist against the MPB Approved inspection process.

  • If your kit matches the condition rating on your quote, we’ll automatically pay you. If your kit is in better condition than expected, we’ll automatically increase the amount indicated on your quote and pay you more.

  • If your kit is in lower condition rating than expected, we may need to make an adjustment to your quote. Our team will get in touch to check if you are happy to proceed. If you change your mind, we can return your kit to you free of charge. If you agree the adjustments are accurate, we will then pay you.

  • Once you have accepted your quote, we will email you a fully-encrypted link to submit your payment details and your money will appear in your bank account within the next few working days.

Finally, we’ll ask about your experience selling to MPB. Your feedback is important to us, and it helps us to keep improving our service.
