What should I include in the box?

When you sell to MPB, we are only expecting to receive items and accessories quoted in your transaction, please do not send in any unquoted or unrelated accessories (see below).

Maximize the price by including all original manufacturer accessories

Original manufacturer accessories include batteries, battery chargers, neck straps, lens caps, instruction manuals, and original packaging. We may increase or decrease your quote based on the original manufacturer accessories you include.

Your instant quote includes accessories that generally affect your gear’s performance.

You can include original packaging from a camera body and a lens that were sold together originally. Packaging from a body and lens that were sold together originally may increase your quote only for the body—not the lens.

Including an original manufacturer neck strap may also increase your quote.

You can sell us your third-party accessories, but they must be fully functional and work with the item you’re selling. These items tend to have a lower value than original manufacturer accessories, which can decrease your quote price.

If you wish to sell any third-party accessories then you must ensure these are listed as separate items when completing your quote form before sending them in. Please note that MPB cannot guarantee the purchase or return of any unquoted items that you choose to send in as part of your sale.

We buy a wide range of digital photo and video gear - more than 12,000 items in the US every month. So that we can ensure the best possible quality for the items we list for sale, MPB reserves the right to carry out the following as part of the inspection process:

  • The removal of peripheral, unlisted items such as screen protectors, covers, and memory cards

  • The disposal of any other accessories that are damaged and not fit for sale

  • The disposal of any soiled, damaged, or unrelated packaging, including packaging with unremovable competitor stickers or markings

In the event that a sale is not completed, any such items will therefore not be returned and MPB may dispose of such items as it sees fit such as recycling the items or donating them to charity. For more information, please consult our terms & conditions.
