To start shopping on MPB, simply browse available products or use the search bar. You can add items straight to your basket or save them to your account to come back to later.
Searching for Products
MPB offers multiple ways to help you find the right products. You can search directly by model name, or use our advanced filtering tools to narrow down results based on specific features, compatibility, and price.
Using the Search Bar
To find a specific item on MPB, enter the model name directly into the search bar. As you type, suggested listings will appear based on your input.
Once you've entered a model name, available products will be displayed along with the quantity currently in stock. This allows you to view all available inventory for that specific model.
Alternatively, you can use general keywords—for example, entering “Canon EF” will display all Canon EF-compatible lenses.
Filtering
In addition to the search bar, MPB offers a comprehensive filtering system to help you narrow down your options and find exactly what you need.
You can filter results by:
Brand
Product Type
Condition Grading
Technical Specifications, such as Megapixels and Weight
These filters allow you to tailor your search and view only the products that meet your specific requirements.
Product Recommendations
On MPB, you'll also find a carousel under the ‘You might also like’ tab, showcasing items often bought with a specific model or other kit related to your search.

Saving Items for later
You can save items to your account to view or purchase later. This can be helpful if you are looking to build out a kit-list, or simply window shopping.
If you would like to save an item for later, simply select the “♥️” icon on the item which will then save to your account.
Understanding Models vs Products
It’s helpful to understand the difference between a model and a product when browsing:
Model: The general name of a camera, lens, or accessory.
Example: Canon EOS 5D Mk II
Product: A specific item available for purchase from MPB, including its condition and unique identifier.
Example: Canon EOS 5D Mk II in ‘Like New’ condition (SKU: 1234567)
Saving individual products allows you to easily revisit them from your account when you're ready to buy.
How to View Saved Items
To view your saved items, you will need to log-in to your MPB account and follow the steps below:
Hover over the person icon on the top right of MPB
Select ‘Saved’
Select either ‘Saved Models’ or ‘Saved Items’
Out of Stock Items & Alerts
If a product is currently out of stock, you can still view it and save it to your account for future reference. To do this:
Enter the model name into the Search Bar.
Select the option to “Find out-of-stock models.”
Out-of-stock items will appear greyed out, indicating they are not currently available.
You can then save these items to your wishlist or account for later tracking.
How do I set up a product alert?
To set up a product alert for an out-of-stock item, follow these steps:
Enter the model name into the Search Bar.
Select the option to “Find out-of-stock models.”
Out-of-stock items will appear greyed out, indicating they are not currently available.
Select ‘Create Alert’ on the item image.
Here you will be prompted to provide your email address for notification and you will be emailed once an item is listed on MPB.
Currently product alerts can only be created for models overall, and can not be created for items within a specific condition grading or price bracket. |
How do I turn off product alerts?
You will receive an email once a product comes back into stock. From this email you can choose to turn off products alert for that specific item - or all alerts in general.
Select - Turn off email alerts for product name to switch off alerts for that specific product
Select - Turn off all product alerts to switch off all active product alerts

Can you reserve items?
As a reseller of used gear, our stock changes quickly - so we don't currently offer reservations. If an item is currently unavailable, there’s a good chance it will be listed again soon—so we recommend checking back soon- new kit is listed daily.
What is an SKU?
SKU is an acronym for ‘Stock Keeping Unit’, and is a unique number applied to all of our products across MPB. As we buy used items, every item is individual and can be located by the use of a SKU number.
