If you are VAT registered you will be required to collect VAT on the sale of your equipment to MPB.

The quote you have received prior to letting us know that you are VAT registered will be the full amount we are able to pay for the equipment, inclusive of any VAT you are required to collect.

Example:

We initially offered £120 for your item. If you let us know you are VAT registered we will update your offer to £100 for the item + £20 VAT.

Simply let us know in reply to the quote that you are VAT registered and one of our account managers will register this on your transaction. Once this is confirmed we will proceed with your transaction and once your kit has arrived with us and been checked over we will ask you to send us an invoice itemising the VAT amount due. Invoice requirements for VAT registered sellers in the UK.

In your email summary and my account section you will see the net amount (exclusive of VAT) for each item, along with a Selling total which will include the VAT amount. If you are doing a Trade, the balance you see will be the actual amount due, including any payment of VAT.

You will receive full payment including the VAT amount in a single payment. If you are doing a trade the balance paid or payable will include any VAT due.
