I don't have paystubs, I'm paid cash

Updated over 10 months ago

If you don't receive paystubs and are paid in cash, no problem! You can have the person(s) who pays you cash write a letter stating:

1. How much they pay you

2. What work you perform for them

3. How often they pay you

4. Their name, signature, and contact information

You can also send a work ledger, tax forms, receipts or other documents that show income. If a caseworker calls you for an interview, you can ask them how they prefer this information - they may have a form you could complete as well.
