Do I need to provide my social security number?

Updated over a year ago

You can still submit your application without your Social Security number. However, it is required to be approved for SNAP, so the SNAP office will request it either by letter or during your interview. This may slow down the application process.

At mRelief, we take privacy and online security seriously. All the information you send is encrypted. We also permanently delete your documents and sensitive information like social security number, date of birth, address, last name, email, and signature once we find out the outcome of your case or after 60 days.
