On the first page of the application, you will select your county and input your address. You may see an error message, such as:
"Address is invalid"
"Your address is an important part of your SNAP application so we wanted to make sure we got it right. Is this your home/mailing address?"
If this happens, please ensure that you have correctly entered your address by double checking the number, street spelling, city, and zip code. This is extremely important, as all documentation from the SNAP office, including your EBT card if you are approved for SNAP, is mailed to the address you enter for the mailing address.
Helpful tip: By just entering the numbers of your home address and the beginning of the street name, you'll see the option for a drop down bar of suggested addresses. Selecting your address from the drop down bar will auto-populate your entire address and ensure that it is the state's system.
