How to create a Google Analytics resource and connect it to a site in mssg.me

  1. Login to Google Analytics using the following link

  2. If you have not registered in Google Analytics before, you will need to create an account in a few simple steps by setting the name of the account, selecting the “Website” for analysis and entered the tracked site in mssg.me as the “URL”
    If you previously created an account in Google Analytics, then your personal account will open

  3. Open “Admin” tab

  4. In the “Account” column, select the required account or create a new one

  5. In the “Property” column, select the necessary property or create a new one that you will use to track the site in mssg.me
    When creating a new resource, in the 4th step, select “Web”, write a link your site in mssg.me, set the name of the stream and click “Create stream”

  6. In the “Property” column, open “Data Streams”

  7. Select a stream created for your site in mssg.me, or create a new stream for “Web” writing a link to your site in mssg.me and set a name for the stream, click “Create stream”

  8. Copy the “Metric ID” of the stream

  9. Log in your personal mssg.me account

  10. Select one of the created sites for which you want to connect Google Analytics

  11. Open the “Settings” section

  12. Open the “Tracking” section

  13. Click on “Google”

  14. Paste the tracking ID into the input field

  15. Click on the “Apply” button
