Please note that setting up events for TikTok Pixel will need to be done using the TikTok Pixel Helper extension, which is currently only available for the Google Chrome browser. You can download the TikTok Pixel Helper extension from the following link.

  1. Create or log in to your TikTok Business account using the following link https://www.tiktok.com/business/

  2. In the “Assets” tab, select the “Events” item

  3. Click on the “Manage” button in the “Web Events” block

  4. Click on the “Set Up Web Events” button

  5. Select TikTok Pixel and click “Next”

  6. Enter a name for the pixel

  7. Select “Manually Install Pixel Code” and click “Next”

  8. Select “Standard Mode” and click “Create”

  9. Click on “Email Pixel Code” and copy TikTok Pixel ID, and then close the opened modal window and click “Next”

  10. Do not close the TikTok Pixel settings tab, but open the mssg.me personal account in a separate browser tab using the following link https://next.mssg.me/pages

  11. Select one of the created sites for which you want to connect TikTok Pixel

  12. Open the “Settings” section

  13. Open the “Tracking” section

  14. Click on “TikTok”

  15. Paste the TikTok Pixel ID into the input field and click the “Apply” button

  16. Go back to the TikTok Pixel settings tab and click on the button “Add Web Elements”

  17. In the upper left corner of the page, in the “Enter a URL” field, enter a link leading to your site in mssg.me (if a domain is connected to the site, you can enter a link with your domain) and click next to the button with an arrow pointing to the right

  18. The content of the site will be displayed in a small window, click on the button for which you want to create an event and confirm the addition of the element (you can select several buttons for one event)

  19. Set the event type for the checked buttons in the “Event type” field.
For example, for messenger buttons and other contacts, you can select the “Contact” event type, for buttons with links, you can choose – “Click Button”, and for the form submit button – “Submit Form”
You can also set advanced settings for the event

  20. Click the “Add Web Elements” button to add more events. You can add events later if needed

  21. Click on the “Complete Setup” button

  22. Created events are usually fixed not immediately after they are created, but after some time, check the fixing of the events in about 30 minutes after they were created
