Connecting Your Facebook Account to Munch Studio
To successfully connect Facebook to Munch Studio, there are two important requirements:
(1) You must be using a Facebook Page, not a personal profile, and
(2) You must have Admin permissions on that Page.
Below is how to verify both.
1. Confirm You Are Using a Facebook Page (Not a Personal Profile)
A Facebook Page is different from a personal Facebook profile, and only Pages can be connected to Munch Studio.
To check what you’re using:
Switch to the Facebook profile/Page you want to connect.
Look for the “Manage Page” button or the “Follow” / “Like” buttons.
If you see these options, you are on a Facebook Page.
If you do not see them, then you're on a personal profile, which cannot be connected to Munch Studio.
Facebook does not allow converting a personal profile into a Page.
If you currently only have a personal profile, you will need to create a new Facebook Page from scratch for your business, brand, or organization.
2. Confirm You Have Admin Permissions
To connect your Facebook Page to Munch Studio, your account must have Admin or Full Control access on that Page.
To verify this:
Log in to Facebook.
Switch to your Page.
Go to: Settings → Page Settings → Page Access (or Page Roles, depending on your Facebook interface).
Look for your name in the list.
If it shows Admin or Full Control, you have the correct permissions.
If not, you will need an existing Page admin to update your role.
