Create a Voiceover Video (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)

Voiceover Videos help you generate a short, vertical video with a clear storyline and AI voice narration—so you can post high-quality content even when you don’t have time (or ideas) to script and edit.

Before you start

To use Voiceover Videos, you need:

  • An active Brand set up in Munch (your business details + style).

If you don’t have a Brand yet, you’ll be prompted to set one up first.

How to create a Voiceover Video

You can start from either place:

Option 1: From the Home page

  1. Click Generate video (or the Voiceover Video button).

  2. This will take you into the creation flow.

Option 2: From My Projects

  1. Go to My Projects

  2. Click + New project

  3. Select Voiceover Video

Step-by-step: the Voiceover Video wizard

You’ll answer a few quick questions so we can generate the right video for your business:

  1. Choose a video style

Pick the format you want, like:

    • List

    • Step-by-step

    • Lesson learned

    • Relatable problem

  2. Pick a topic

Choose what your video will be about.

  3. Choose a platform

Select where you want to post it (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.).

  4. Choose a voice

You can preview voices before selecting one.

  5. Add media (optional)

    You can:

    • Upload/select your own photos/videos, or

    • Allow stock media (so we can fill gaps for you)

  6. Click Generate (or Munch it) to start creating your video.

While your video is generating

You’ll see your new project appear in My Projects with a “processing” state.

Most videos take a few minutes to generate.

When it’s ready: what you can do next

Open the project to:

  • Preview your generated video

  • Download it

  • Share / schedule it to post

If something goes wrong

If the video can’t be generated, you’ll see an error message with guidance on what to try next (for example, retrying with different media).

Plan limits (if you see an “out of credits” message)

Voiceover Videos may have monthly usage limits depending on your plan. If you hit the limit, you’ll see an option to upgrade.
