Music is a universal language, but the text has its place, too. You can comment on scores, and join group discussions.

On scores

Every score has a comment thread below it or to the right of it (depending on your screen size). To post a new comment, click on 'Your comment', type your comment, and click on 'Save'. You can edit your comment after posting if you need to - click thebutton at the comment's top right, and the 'Edit' link will appear.

To reply to a comment, click the button at its top right and the 'Reply' link will appear.

The total number of comments on a score (if non-zero) is listed on the page. See also Statistics.

Group discussions

If you're a member of a group, there are three tabs below the group name:

  1. Discussions

  2. Sheet Music

  3. Members

Click the 'Discussions' tab to see current and previous discussions.

Off to the right is the 'Add discussion' button.

Joining an existing discussion is the same as commenting on scores described above.

Reply from dashboard

You have the option to reply to some types of comments directly from your dashboard. If a comment or a new discussion appears among the recent activity on the dashboard, there will be a field below it that says 'Write something'. Click on this option to reply without even going to view the actual discussion or comment thread.

Keywords: comments, discussions.
