Source? Label? Name? This is a metadata field that often causes confusion, and is interpreted differently, depending on the streaming & download platform.

What is displayed under Source on Spotify is information that is also often misunderstood as your ‘Label' name.

Where do I enter that on MusicHub?

Until now, there was no way to specify this field yourself. It was automatically generated from the information from your first and last name, that you filled out in your account details. To create more clarity and uniformity, we have decided to set "MusicHub" as the default source displayed on platforms. This applies to all new releases from: 10.03.2022. In addition, all existing releases will be updated as well. If you have changed your account information so that your legal name is not displayed online, please correct this after 10.03.2022.

With this decision, we will hopefully prevent future royalty discrepancies (which use the same field as information) and avoid displaying an unwanted source name.

Thank you for your understanding.
