At MusicHub, the Track Sharing feature allows you to share your tracks with collaborators, friends or family without having to release them to the streaming platforms.

The tracks you share with Track Sharing could be early demos of your work or the finished product that you want some final feedback on before releasing them to the streaming platforms. Track Sharing allows listeners to comment on your track, leaving you detailed feedback as to what they like, or areas where they think the track can be improved. In this guide we will show you how and where to find the Track Sharing feature and how it works.

Sharing a Track

  1. On your Track Board, start a new Idea:

  2. Once the tabs pop up, click on Audio:

  3. Upload the audio file of the track that you are working on by either clicking in the box, or dragging and dropping your audio file:

  4. Once you have upload the audio file, you can click ’Share Audio’:

  5. Now you can simply click on the link to copy it, and then share it with whomever you want:

Commenting on a Track

In order to give you direct feedback by commenting on a track, the person leaving the comment needs to be registered with MusicHub (either for free or as subscriber).

Once the listener is signed in to MusicHub, they will be able to comment on the track by writing in the comment box:

You will then be able to reply to any comments:

Whenever someone adds a comment, you'll automatically receive an email notification:

We hope you get insightful and helpful feedback through Track Sharing! This is a new MusicHub feature and we are already looking for ways to make it even better, so if you have any ideas for how we could improve it, please let our customer support team know.
