The following article will outline how a teacher adds their bank details into the system to receive payment for lessons taught through the platform.
Please note all lessons must be purchased through the platform. Cash transactions are not permitted.
How to add your bank details
If you are a published teacher i.e. your profile is 'live'
Go to settings and click on payments
Scroll down to the box labelled bank details
Input your sort code (XX-XX-XX) and account number
If you are a registered teacher i.e. your profile is not 'live'
Log in to your MusicTeachers.co.uk account
Go to the box labelled Payment details on your dashboard and click on the drop-down icon
Input your Sort Code (XX-XX-XX) and Account number and click to save
FAQs
When will I receive payment for lessons taught through the platform?
We will pay you within the first five working days of each month for all lessons taught in the previous month e.g. if Helen teaches five lessons in January, she will receive payment for these lessons within the first five working days of February.
How will you pay me?
We will pay you via direct bank transfer. Payment is from 'MoreMusic UK Ltd'
Where do I find my invoices?
Your monthly invoices are in the Payments tab. The invoice will include a full breakdown of lessons held, a calculation of hours taught, the total paid by students, the Platforms fee and the teacher fee. Click on the 3 dots under the heading Actions and view or print that month's invoice.
