Images are essential for a successful profile - if they are engaging, informative and high-quality, you will increase your enquiries.
Please note you are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary copyright permissions for any image you upload.
Your profile can have the following images:
Main profile picture (mandatory)
Cover image (optional but strongly recommended)
Extra photos (up to 5, or 4 if you have a video - optional but strongly recommended)
Main Profile Picture
You will have added a main profile picture during your application. You can change this at any time as follows:
Go to “Edit Profile” from the main menu
Go to “Images” from the sub-menu
Scroll down to “Profile Picture”
Click on “Upload a new profile picture”
The file type must be JPG or PNG with a maximum size of 5 MB. The most successful image is a friendly, smiling face showing large in the frame. The higher the image quality, the more student enquiries you will likely receive.
Cover Image
This image is in two positions - on a narrow crop within the search results and a wide crop on your full profile page.
The image must be at least 200 pixels high by 1292 pixels wide for best results, with a recommended size of 800 pixels high by 1900 pixels wide.
Do not include text in the image. If there is an important subject in the picture, ensure it appears in the centre-right of the image and is not obscured by the other design elements on the website.
You can add or change your cover image at any time as follows:
Go to “Edit Profile” from the main menu
Go to “Images” from the sub-menu
Scroll to “Upload cover image”
Click on “Upload”
To remove your cover image entirely, click “Delete cover image” in that same section of your account.
Extra Images
Extra images are displayed in a carousel gallery on your full profile page. You can use five images, or four if a video is linked to your account.
For best results, ensure you choose landscape format images.
You can add extra images at any time as follows:
Go to “Edit Profile” from the main menu
Go to “Images” from the sub-menu
Scroll to “Upload extra images”
Click on “Upload new image”
When removing an image, click the ‘X’ on the image thumbnail.
To reorder the images, you must remove then re-add them in the order you want them. The first two images display on your full profile page without the prospective student needing to scroll through the gallery, or if you also have a video linked to your profile, one extra image will be shown alongside the video thumbnail.

Great images are the key to a successful profile - you must have a main profile picture, and whilst the cover image and extra images are optional, we strongly recommend you also take the time to select engaging images for these positions.
