How do I view a message from my teacher?
How do I view a message from my teacher?

For students. This article is a guide to help you be aware your teacher has sent you a message and where to find it to read and respond.

Updated over a month ago

When your teacher sends you a new message, you are notified of this in two ways:

  1. You will receive an email notification. When you are aware of a message but have not received an email, please check your spam folder.

  2. You will see a red dot next to your Inbox tab.

Messages are kept within the Inbox tab on the top navigation bar of your student account.

When you see a red dot next to the word 'Inbox' you know there is an unread message. Click on the tab and then on the message to open the whole message thread.

You can reply directly to your teacher from your inbox, creating a red dot next to their inbox tab to notify them you have responded.

The inbox is the only way to communicate with your teacher through the website. Emails and chat messages come through to support at the office of MusicTeachers and not to any teacher.
