What are SMS notifications?

SMS notifications are short, text messages that are sent directly to your mobile number when a new student contacts you through MusicTeachers.co.uk. The notification is sent as soon as the student sends the message, letting you quickly respond to new enquiries.

We know that it is easier to get lessons booked into the calendar if you are quick to respond to the first enquiry from a new student. We also know that it can be demanding to stay up-to-date via e-mail, which is why we offer SMS notifications. SMS notifications ensure you quickly become aware of new student enquiries. It can help lower your response time and increase the chances of securing new students. With SMS you are informed immediately, so you can react quickly.

How do I set my notifications?

You can choose whether you wish to receive SMS notifications or whether you would prefer to receive them by email. You will find the setting under the menu Settings >> SMS notifications .

Which phone number are the messages sent to?

The messages are sent to the phone number you have registered on your teacher account. If you need to update your phone number, you can do so in your settings .

Does it cost anything to get SMS notifications?

No, it is completely free for you as a teacher to receive notifications about new enquiries via SMS.
