Students: Why have you charged me? I haven't taken any lessons this month.

For students: if you have taken a break from lessons but are still being charged monthly, here is a guide to explain why.

Updated over a month ago

This article explains the difference between lessons purchased and how the payment schedule works to pay for these.

Lesson purchases

You can purchase lessons as part of a lesson Offer, as a single lesson or in blocks of 5, 10, 20 or 40.

On the day of purchase, all the lessons are added to your account and are available to be used at any time during the year. They are not linked to the payments and can be taken all at once or spread out up to 12 months.

Payments for lessons

When a block of 10, 20 or 40 lessons is purchased, you, the student, have two options for payment:

  1. Pay in full

If you choose the split-payment plan you are agreeing to make a payment each month for its duration, no matter how many lessons have been used and when. If you stop your lessons for a break, the monthly instalments will continue with the plan until its scheduled completion date.

Payment Plans

  • Blocks of 10 or 20 lessons can be purchased over 3-monthly payments.

  • Blocks of 40 lessons can be purchased over 10-monthly payments.

  • The first payment of the plan is the date you make the purchase, with subsequent payment dates falling on the same day of the month until fully paid.
