Split payment plans

For students: Purchasing lessons using the split payments option

Updated over a week ago

When purchasing lessons, you may be offered the option of paying in monthly instalments. This is called using a "split-payment plan". This option will be displayed on the purchase screen when you have chosen the lesson block you wish to buy.

Split Payment Plan - when can I use this option?

Examples of when you can choose to pay using split payments rather than in full on the day of purchase are:

  • Blocks of 10 or 20 lessons: over 3-monthly payments.

  • Blocks of 40 lessons: over 10-monthly payments.

  • Lesson Offers over £100.00: over 3-monthly payments.

Payment Dates

The first payment is due on the date you purchase, with subsequent payment dates falling on the same day of the month until fully paid. For example, when buying your lessons on the 1st of January over 3 monthly instalments, you will make the first of the 3 payments on the 1st of January. Your subsequent payments are then made on 1st February and 1st March.

Important Points

  1. If you choose the split-payment plan you are agreeing to make a payment each month for its duration, no matter how many lessons have been used and when. If you stop your lessons for a break or only take lessons infrequently, the monthly instalments will continue with the plan until its scheduled completion date. Lesson purchase schedules are independent of the dates lessons are used and lessons are valid for up to 1 year from the date of purchase.

  2. If you miss a split payment, for example, if your card details need updating, this can be rectified by inputting your card details again. Log into your account, and click 'My Account' on the top navigation bar. Next, from the left-hand list, choose 'Payment Details'. You can update your card details here. Please note that if you have missed a payment, it will be collected after you update your card details.
