Welcome to the Muso.AI Charts

For the first time, we're introducing a chart for each music industry professional. Using all the data surrounding your credits, we've built a weekly chart for you to track your position in.

Charts use credit popularity scores to show how your discography ranks within the industry. It's a great way to validate your progress, identify areas for improvement, and generate some friendly competition with other creators.

You can easily access this new tool from the Insights page in the app. You'll see your current weekly rank based on your role in the industry (producer, engineer, musician, etc.).

On the home page, you'll now find several chart categories of our "Public top 100" charts. Whereas on the insights page you'll find charts tailored to your own credits.

What's even more exciting is that you can share your rank with others! Show off your progress and gain some perspective on your career.

How is your score calculated?

Your score is calculated based on the current popularity of your credits. Each of your credits has a current popularity score which fluctuates week over week. This means that your overall score will fluctuate accordingly.

Based on this score you will get a position in the industry. Based on this position we will calculate in which percentile of the industry you rank in. Each of the following percentiles will be shown on your insights page

  • Top 90%

  • Top 75%

  • Top 50%

  • Top 25%

  • Top 10%

  • Top 5%

  • Top 2%

  • Top 1%

  • Top 0.1%

  • Top 0.01%

Both the popularity of your credits impact your score and the size of your catalog play a role in how your score is calculated. Someone with a long career of medium popularity will still score higher than a one-hit-wonder.

The chart represents both long-term career impact and how currently relevant your work is in the industry.

How often the charts are updated?

The charts are updated every Friday and will stay static for the remainder of the week.

When charts get updated you will get a new position and the change in your position will be reflected on your chart card on the insights page.

When visiting the public charts from the home page, you'll find a date filter to go back to previous weeks. On both the public charts and your own individual chart, you will see weekly position changes based on how the popularity of your credits is changed.

Embrace the rhythm of success and chart your path to greatness! With the launch of the Muso.AI Charts, we are empowering professionals, labels, artists, and music lovers around the world to new heights.
