Our software doesn't offer a way to simply change out the template for a design. But there are two ways to import menu data from one saved design into a new template. Both options can save a lot of manual typing time.
The saved items feature is one option to copy or import menu items from a saved design to a new template.
Here are the step-by-step instructions for using the Saved Items feature. Please be sure to read through them carefully.
Open the template you would like to use. This is the template you are bringing the text into (i.e. new template).
Then click on one of the menu items text boxes on the menu design page. A pink-colored highlight will appear around the selected text box.
Directly above the text box will be a left-pointing arrow. Select the left pointing arrow. This will pop up a white box with a Saved Design button and a POS button.
Select the Saved Design option to import text from another design saved in the account.
Find the menu you want to copy text from, in the pop-up box. Click on the menu and the list of menu items from that design will be displayed.
Then select the items needed for the first section (for example: all of the appetizers), then select the Add to Design button.

The switching templates option is the other way to import menu data into a template from a saved design.
Here are the step-by-step instructions for using the Switching Templates feature. Please be sure to read through them carefully.
Open the saved design where all of the menu data has been entered.
Then select the Templates option in the upper left.
Find a new template in the left side panel and select it.
Then select OK on the pop up confirming the new template.
Once the new template opens, select the Text option in the upper left.
The menu groups from the saved design will be listed in the left side panel.
Select a menu group from the left side panel then select the section on the design to replace that template section with the menu group.
