Before beginning, it is recommended to Make a Copy of a design prior to importing menu data from Square.
Square Integration Set Up
From within the design editor, select Menu Data on the left panel.
Select the Import items button.
A pop up will appear.
From the top, select the POS button.
Select the Square tile where it says Let’s Get Your Menu Data!
A new window will load, with Square sign in information.
Continue to log in with the email address and password associated with a Square account.
MustHaveMenus will check for verification, then provide confirmation of the integration.
Back in MustHaveMenus, click Menu Center from the left.
Select a design to return to the design editor.
Importing Square POS Data for use as My Menu Groups
After setting up the MustHaveMenus and Square POS integration,
from within the design editor, select Menu Data from the left panel.
Select the Import items button.
A pop up will appear.
From the top, select the POS button.
Location Mapping will need to be completed.
Location Mapping refers to the association of one MustHaveMenus Location to one Square Location for access of POS / menu data.
To map locations, select Assign Location.
Select the applicable Square Location from the left, and match it to the appropriate MustHaveMenus Location on the right by clicking on it.
If applicable, repeat the process of selecting a Square Location on the left and associating it to the MustHaveMenus Location on the right.
Once all Locations have been mapped, select Done.
Please note: Data can only be imported from the assigned Location.
The menu data from the selected Square location will now be accessible by the applicable MustHaveMenus Location.
Select data for use and select Add groups.
The selected POS data will appear on the left, within Menu Data.
The Menu Groups are now ready to be used on the design.
Use Square Menu Data on a Design
From within the design editor, select Menu Data from the left panel.
Select the desired Menu Group.
Select Place Group.
The available text spaces will highlight on the canvas with click to replace.
Click into the desired space, and the Menu Group will populate on the design.
Repeat this process until all desired Menu Groups are on the design.
