How to use alignments

Learn how to align multiple text boxes and graphics

Updated over 2 weeks ago

More than one text box and/or graphic can be selected at a time so they can be aligned together to the center, left or right, bottom or top. Or one text box or graphic can be selected to align it on the entire page or panel.

Hold down the SHIFT key on the keyboard to select multiple text boxes or graphics. After you have one or multiple text boxes or graphics selected, then use the Position tool in the upper right (see below picture), in the drop-down toolbar to align those text boxes and/or graphics.

The drop-down list will appear, under the words "Align Elements" there will be 6 options -

The first alignment will align to the left of the page, panel or vertically selected text boxes and/or graphics.

The second alignment centers to the middle of the page or panel. Or, if you have more than one text box or graphic selected that are listed vertically and use that centering option, it will align just those boxes/graphics to center with each other and not in the middle of the page.

The third alignment option will align to the right of the page, panel or vertically selected text boxes and/or graphics.

The fourth alignment option will align things to the top of the page, panel or horizontally selected text boxes and/or graphics.

The fifth alignment option will align to the middle of the page, panel or horizontally selected text boxes and/or graphics.

The sixth alignment option will align to the bottom of the page, panel or vertically selected text boxes and/or graphics.
