Smart collections in Shopify allow you to group products based on specific conditions. Here’s a breakdown of key details:
Condition Types: Match products based on title, tags, type, vendor, price, weight, inventory, product categories, metafields, or metaobject references.
Number of Conditions: You can include up to 60 conditions per smart collection.
Condition Matching Options: Include options like "is equal to," "contains," "starts with," and "is greater than." These are case-insensitive and apply to product and variant attributes.
Conditions for Variants: If any variant meets a condition, the entire product is included in the collection.
Metafield and Metaobject Conditions: You can set conditions based on metafield definitions (e.g., color, material) and metaobject references for products or variants.
Price, Weight, and Inventory: Conditions can include exact matches or ranges by using multiple conditions.
Multiple Conditions: Choose between matching all conditions (AND logic) or any condition (OR logic) to include products.
For example, to create a collection for products priced between $50-$150:
Set "Price is greater than $49.99."
Set "Price is less than $150.01."
