How Amazon Attribution Links work

Your community members generate personal attribution links to earn commission on Amazon sales. When a follower clicks one of these links (for example, from Instagram), they can either:

  • Go straight to the product on Amazon, or

  • Enter their email to unlock a discount code first

When a follower enters their email, they join your brand's club (e.g. the "Celsius Club"), receive their discount code, and are redirected to Amazon to complete the purchase. The system automatically creates a Club account and emails them to finalise sign-up, capturing the customer data Amazon normally keeps hidden from brands.


Step 1: Connect Amazon

  1. In the admin panel, go to Settings > Amazon attribution

  2. Click Connect Amazon

  3. Log in with your Amazon credentials and authorize the integration

  4. Select the correct store from the profile dropdown


Step 2: Configure the discount code incentive

  1. In Amazon Seller Central, generate a discount code

  2. Paste the code into the Club settings

  3. Enter the discount percentage (this is used to track sign-ups)

  4. Select one of your recruitment links to track sign-ups


Step 3: Generate the tag and finalize setup

  1. In the Publisher dropdown, select Google Ads to generate a macro tag, then copy it

  2. Take your Amazon product or store URL and append the macro tag to the end

  3. Go to Settings > Discount and gift card

  4. Under Affiliate links, paste the full URL

  5. Toggle on Use custom query parameter

  6. Toggle the sign-up discount feature on or off as needed


You're done

Your Amazon Attribution Link is now live. Share the link with your ambassadors and start capturing Amazon customer data on every sale.
