đŸ§© Add a Club floating button to your Shopify store

A branded button that follows shoppers on every page and opens your Club in one tap. Set up in 2 minutes.

Written by Eimear Kirwan

Your best future ambassadors are already shopping on your site. The Club floating button sits on every page, follows shoppers as they scroll, and opens your Club in one tap. No hunting through the footer.

Why add it

  • Recruit on autopilot. Shoppers join your Club while they browse. Your team does nothing.

  • Always visible. Unlike a footer link, it stays on screen on every page.

  • Looks like your brand. Change the colour, size, label and position to match your site.

  • Track every source. Create a dedicated invitation link for the button and see exactly how many members it brings in.

Before you start

Connect Shopify to Club. Follow How to Add Your Club Embed to Your Shopify Store.

Set up the button

  1. In Shopify go to Online Store > Themes > Edit theme.

  2. Click the App embeds icon in the top-left toolbar and open Club.

  3. Turn on Show floating button.

  4. Enter your brand alias. You'll find it in your Club invitation link, after club=. Copy it exactly, capital letters included.

  5. Optional: in Club, create an invitation link called “Website button” and paste its intent ID. Sign-ups from the button then show separately in your Club.

  6. Style it. Set the label, light or dark theme, size, corner radius, spacing, background colour, text colour and font.

  7. Click Save.

Preview your store. The button now sits in the corner of every page. Tap it and your Club opens.

Get even more members

Pair the button with the Club welcome pop-up. The pop-up offers new visitors a discount to join. The button gives everyone else, including returning shoppers, a way in whenever they're ready.

Good to know

  • On your website, shoppers can join your Club, sign up as an affiliate and grab their discount codes. Missions, rewards and payouts live in the Club app, so encourage new members to download it.

  • In your invitation links, clicks are sign-ups on your website. Conversions are members who then downloaded the app and logged in.
