Manage, Add, or Cancel Event Bookings

Learn how to create a booking for a user, add payment details, and cancel individual tickets or full event bookings.

This article explains how event bookings can be managed in Events Manager, including how to add a new booking for a user and how to cancel either a single ticket or a full booking.

โš ๏ธImportant: You must be logged in as an Admin user with permissions to manage event bookings in the Admin Control Panel, to be able to add and manage bookings.

Add a New Event Booking

  1. Log in to My School Portal as an Admin user.

  2. Click Admin Control Panel.

  3. Click Events, then click Events Manager.

  4. Click Add new booking.

  5. Complete the booking details:

    • User Email:

      • Enter the email address for the user you want to create the booking for.

      • Click Filter.

    • User: After filtering, select the correct user from the drop-down list.

    • Event Name: Select the event you want to book for the user from the drop-down list.

    • Payment Method: Select the relevant payment method for the booking.

    • Payment Reference: Enter a payment reference if required.

    • Payment Received: Select this box if payment has already been received for the booking.

  6. Click Add Booking to save the booking.

The booking is now added to the selected userโ€™s account.


Cancel an Event Booking

You can cancel either an individual ticket or the full booking.

  1. Log in to My School Portal as an Admin user.

  2. Click Admin Control Panel.

  3. Click Events, then click Events Manager.

  4. At the top of the page, use the search bar to search for the email address the booking was made for.

  5. Open the booking from the results.

Cancel a Single Ticket

  1. Find the ticket you want to cancel.

  2. Click Cancel Ticket.

This cancels only that ticket within the booking.

Cancel the Entire Booking

  1. In the booking, click Cancel Booking.

  2. A pop-up window appears.

  3. Click Delete to confirm.

This cancels the full booking.
