When you sell the same item on multiple marketplaces, it's important to ensure that the available quantity is updated wherever the item is listed.
When an Item Sells on Amazon
If an item sells on Amazon, its available inventory may decrease or become unavailable, depending on the remaining quantity.
If the same item is also listed on AbeBooks, its availability needs to be updated accordingly.
When an Item Sells on AbeBooks
When an item sells on AbeBooks, the corresponding Amazon inventory must also be reviewed to ensure that the quantity remains accurate.
For single-copy books, the item should no longer be available for purchase on another marketplace once it has sold.
What Should You Check?
Confirm that the order appears on the marketplace where the sale occurred.
Review the remaining quantity.
Check whether the corresponding listing on the other marketplace has been updated.
If the item is still available despite having no remaining stock, take the appropriate action to prevent another sale.
What If the Inventory Doesn't Update?
If you notice an inventory discrepancy, verify the listing status and quantity on both marketplaces.
Contact AccelerList Support with the affected SKU, ASIN, and relevant listing information so the issue can be investigated.
Note: The timing and availability of automatic updates depend on the integration's current functionality.
