Here's a step-by-step guide to resetting your password at MyCanvas.com.

Note: if you use Ancestry, Amazon, or Facebook to sign in, you will need to update your password on that website instead of on MyCanvas.

GETTING STARTED

1. Go to the MyCanvas.com Sign-In page of the MyCanvas website.

2. Click "Continue with E-mail".
3. Enter the e-mail address that's registered to your MyCanvas account.
4. Click "Forgot your password?" below the e-mail field.

Once you've selected "Forgot your Password," we will send a link to reset your password to the e-mail entered on the MyCanvas sign-in page.

RESETTING YOUR MYCANVAS PASSWORD

First, log in to your e-mail account. You should see an e-mail from MyCanvas with the subject "Reset your MyCanvas password." Once you've opened the e-mail, click the "Reset My Password" button. Selecting this button will open a new page that allows you to change your password.

From the "Change Password" page, enter the new password in the "New password" placeholder, then re-enter the new password in the "New password again" placeholder. Once you've entered the new password in both boxes, click the "Change" button.

You will be redirected to the "Password Changed!" page if you've successfully changed your password. Go ahead and click the "Go To MyCanvas" button. Selecting this button opens the MyCanvas.com homepage.

SIGNING INTO MYCANVAS WITH YOUR NEW PASSWORD

1. From the MyCanvas homepage, select the "LOGIN" tab in the top white navigation bar. This will transfer you to the MyCanvas sign-in page.

2. Click "Continue with E-mail".

3. Enter the e-mail address that's registered to your MyCanvas account.
4. Enter the new password.
5. Click the blue "Login" button.

After logging in, you can start making your Family History Memories!
