Review the Status of a Follow Up

Ensure timely resolution with Follow Up progress statuses

Once Follow Ups are assigned, MyClass provides tools to view progress status and ensure timely resolution. This guide will help you monitor Follow Ups, update statuses, and confirm when issues have been resolved.

Why Track Follow Ups?

  • Ensures No Issues Are Overlooked- Keeps flagged concerns visible until resolved.

  • Provides Real-Time Updates- Users can check progress and add notes.

  • Improves Compliance & Accountability- Helps ensure all safety risks are addressed.


How to Track Follow Ups

On Mobile

  1. Open the MyClass app and go to the Follow Up tab.

  2. Use the Ongoing and Completed tabs to filter your Follow Ups.

  3. Tap on a Follow Up to check status and details.

On Desktop

  1. Log in to MyClass and navigate to the Assessments tab.

  2. Click on the assessment you’d like to view.

  3. Select the Follow Up Tab to see all flagged issues.

  4. Click the Status header to sort by ongoing and completed status

  5. Click on a Follow Up to view details and assigned team members.


Updating & Resolving Follow Ups

  • Adding Notes & Media- Team members can attach updates, images, or comments.

  • Changing Due Dates- Admins can extend deadlines if necessary.

  • Reassigning Follow Ups- If an issue requires attention from another team member, reassign the the Follow Up.

  • Marking Follow Ups as Resolved- Once completed, team members or admins can update the status by editing the Follow Up.


How to Mark a Follow Up as Resolved

  1. Open the Follow Up from the list.

  2. Click the pencil icon to edit the Follow Up.

  3. Add any final comments or supporting documents if needed.

  4. Change the Follow Up status to “Complete” -- resolved Follow-Ups will move to the Completed section.


Troubleshooting Follow Up Issues

I can’t update a Follow Up

  • Ensure you have editing access for the Follow Up.

  • Check your internet connection and refresh the page.

A completed Follow Up is marked as pending

  • Try refreshing the app or browser.

  • Contact an admin if changes are not saving. Admins can check to see if it’s saved on your report.

A Follow Up was marked as completed by mistake

  • An admin can reopen the Follow Up if further action is needed.
