How does Kickflip detects the page language?

Our app uses the lang attribute (lang=XX) from the html tag of your page to detect the language. From there, it will display the corresponding translation if you have added it in Kickflip. If no lang=XX is detected, english will be displayed. If no translation has been added, english will be displayed.

How does it work in Shopify ?

Kickflip will display the correct languages by detecting the store's language. This will work with the most popular translations plugins such as: Shopify Translate & Adapt + Geolocation by Shopify, Languify, Weglot, Panda Language Translate, LangShop and Multi Lingo.

IMPORTANT
Kickflip can only detect the language when the product page loads. If your plugin changes the language without reloading the page, Kickflip will not be able to detect it and display the correct translation. You should find a setting in your plugin to force the page to reload when the language is changed.
