Office365 /Outlook integration
Updated over a week ago

MyDocSafe offers an Outlook add-on that can be installed in your PC or Mac Outlook client. We also have an Office365 version.

Installation instructions can be found here on our website: https://mydocsafe.com/uk/outlook-integration . Once installed, all subsequent upgrades will happen automatically after Outlook restarts.

Make sure that you have instructed MyDocSafe about which portal group and which folder to use for filing, before you start using the add-on. To configure these settings go to 'Company Settings' -> 'Integrations' and scroll down to Outlook:

What can you do with MyDocSafe Outlook add-on?

FOR SENDING DOCUMENTS AND EMAILS

1. Send documents for approval

Send up to 3 documents to 1 or 2 people for approval. If the documents contain [#signature.1#] and [#signature.2#] tags, we will place signature fields exactly where you want them to be. If the document does not contain these tags, we will place the signatures to the e-signature technical page which will be appended to the document.

Your clients will receive an email telling them that there is one or more documents ready to be signed. They will always be required to sign into MyDocSafe before they can proceed.

2. Publish documents to client portals

Send up to 5 documents directly to a client portal. If a client does not have a portal, the system will create one and will automatically invite the client to it.

3. Send an encrypted email

Send an email with up to 5 attachments to a client. The client will receive a message asking them to login to MyDocSafe to read the email. Your 'sent items' will store a link to the encrypted email, protected by your MyDocSafe login credentials.

4. Send an end-to-end encrypted email (using PGP protocol)

Send an email directly to your recipient without it being saved anywhere within MyDocSafe infrastructure. The recipient needs to have installed the plugin as well.

FOR RECEIVED EMAILS

  1. Save incoming emails in MyDocSafe (attachments only)

  2. Decrypt emails that require decryption (for end-to-end encrypted messages)
