What are portal groups?
Updated over 7 months ago

Portal is a place through which you can interact with your clients, staff or other stakeholders. Portal groups are collections of portals with similar characteristics.

We currently offer two types of portal groups:

  • Client Groups - ideal for data rooms, secure document sharing and onboarding workflows

  • Prospect Groups - designed for business quotes, proposals and pre-onboarding workflows

Prospect Group

Here you can design re-usable workflow templates which you can easily send out to prospects by email. Your prospects will not need a login to access the workflow.

Client Group

Once a prospect becomes a client, you may wish to invite them to a secure client portal. Each new client will be asked to set up a password when they receive an inviation to their first portal. Subsequent portal invitations will not require a separate password. In this way a single set of login credentials can be used to access many portals.

Each portal group you create can be configured to look and feel differently, can have different set of worfklow templates and forms, document libraries, folder structures and dashboards.
