What is the new MyDoge V2?
MyDoge V2 is the upgraded version of the original MyDoge wallet. It supports both Dogecoin L1 and the new DogeOS app chain (EVM-compatible). It allows you to hold, bridge, and use Dogecoin across apps, DeFi, NFTs, and questing in one place.
Do I need to download a new app?
No. V2 will roll out as a regular update to your existing MyDoge app. Once updated, you’ll see the new multi-chain interface.
Can I still use MyDoge V1?
No. Once you update, your wallet automatically migrates to V2. V1 will no longer be supported.
What happens to my existing Dogecoin?
Your Dogecoin on L1 remains safe. When you update, you’ll see an option to send your funds from V1 to your new V2 wallet. This ensures your Doge is synced with the latest version.
Is migration automatic?
No. You’ll need to manually send your balance from your V1 wallet to your new V2 address. It’s a one-time transfer and ensures compatibility with new features.
Is there a fee to move my Doge?
Yes. Only the standard Dogecoin network fee (L1 gas) applies. There are no additional fees from MyDoge.
What’s new in MyDoge V2?
It now supports multi-chain functionality, including Dogecoin L1, DogeOS (EVM), Solana, and others. You can access DogeOS apps, complete quests, bridge and swap assets, and use both social login and seed recovery. Notifications for ecosystem events are also available.
How do I access DogeOS?
From your wallet home screen, tap any application. This takes you directly into the DogeOS ecosystem, where you can explore apps, earn XP, and join quests.
Can I use DogeOS dApps directly inside the wallet?
Yes. MyDoge V2 includes native integration, so apps open inside the wallet for a seamless experience.
What is Questing?
Questing is the DogeOS reward system. You complete actions across the ecosystem to earn XP, badges, and future rewards. These can be accessed directly through your MyDoge wallet.
Can I earn yield or staking rewards?
Yes. Staking, borrowing, and yield products from DogeOS protocols can be accessed directly through MyDoge.
What chain is my balance shown on?
You’ll see a total balance across Dogecoin L1 and DogeOS.
Can I still Tip & Send like before?
Yes. All previous social tipping and sending features remain available.
Can I swap Dogecoin for other assets?
Yes. MyDoge V2 includes a built-in swap feature.
Do I need to bridge to use DogeOS apps?
Yes. You’ll bridge DOGE from L1 to DogeOS within the wallet. This converts your Doge into DogeOS-compatible DOGE for use across the ecosystem.
How do I recover my wallet if I lose my phone?
You can recover using your social login (email/X) or your seed phrase, depending on which method you set up.
Can I use hardware wallets like Ledger?
Not yet. Hardware support will come in a future update.
What about my NFTs?
Doge L1 NFTs (Doginals / DRC-20) remain viewable in your classic Doge wallet. DogeOS NFT support will be added post-mainnet.
I can’t see my balance after updating. What should I do?
Check both your Classic Wallet (L1) and Social Wallet (L2) tabs in the app. Balances may appear under different views depending on your chain. If it still doesn’t appear, contact support via Discord or in-app help.
Who do I contact for help?
Reach out through the MyDoge Discord or the in-app support button.
Is there a desktop or extension version?
Not currently. MyDoge V2 is mobile-only.
