Send and receive DOGE tips on X with MyDoge v3
MyDogeTip lets you request a DOGE tip by mentioning @MyDogeTip on X. You then review and confirm the transfer in MyDoge. Posting on X does not send DOGE automatically.
1. Set up MyDoge v3 and connect X
Both the sender and recipient need MyDoge v3 and a connected X account. Set up your Social Wallet, open the app’s side menu from your profile icon, and choose Connect X. Tap Connect X for MyDogeTip and complete the connection.
Check that the connected X account is the one you will use for tips. Verify the Connect X status even if you already use X to sign in.
Connect the X account you use for tips.
2. Check your Social Wallet balance
The bot checks your Social Wallet’s DOGE balance before accepting a tip request. If it is insufficient, the bot rejects the request, even if your Classic Wallet has DOGE. Make sure Social Wallet has enough DOGE for the requested tip before posting.
Once a request is accepted and ready, either Classic Wallet or Social Wallet can fund the transfer. Before confirming, select the wallet you want to send from and make sure it can cover the tip plus the network fee. The bot’s initial Social Wallet balance check and the final sending wallet are separate checks.
3. Post the tip command on X
Use this format, replacing the example handle and amount:
@MyDogeTip tip @recipient 4.2
This requests a tip of 4.2 DOGE. The minimum is 0.01 DOGE, and you cannot tip yourself. Include the word tip. The old +tip tip-train command is not supported by this v3 flow.
4. Open Activity → Notifications
Open Activity in the bottom navigation, then select Notifications. Find the outgoing MyDogeTip request and check the recipient and DOGE amount.
Pending: the recipient still needs to finish setup
If the recipient has not set up a v3 Social Wallet and connected the X account named in the tip, the request remains pending until claimed. You will see a recipient-setup message and only a × cancel button.
The recipient should finish setup and connect X. Claiming the pending tip makes it available for you to confirm; it does not automatically send DOGE. Return to Activity → Notifications after the recipient is ready.

Ready: review and confirm the tip
When the recipient is ready, the notification shows both a ✓ confirm button and a × cancel button. Check your selected sending wallet, recipient and amount, then tap ✓ and complete the app’s authorization steps.
The app submits the DOGE transaction. Check its status in Activity to verify completion. The tip is sent to the recipient’s Social Wallet Dogecoin address.

How do I receive a tip?
Use MyDoge v3, set up your Social Wallet and connect the exact X account that was tagged. Pending tips for that account become available for the sender to confirm. A pending request is not yet a completed payment; you receive DOGE after the sender authorizes and sends it.
The bot rejected my tip for insufficient funds, but Classic Wallet has DOGE.
The bot checks Social Wallet, so a funded Classic Wallet does not satisfy that initial check. Add enough DOGE to Social Wallet, then post the tip request again. If you transfer DOGE between your wallets, that transfer also has a network fee.
I posted a tip but cannot find the notification.
Confirm you are on MyDoge v3 and have connected the X account you posted from.
Check the full command, recipient handle and amount. Use at least 0.01 DOGE and do not tag yourself as recipient.
Check whether the bot rejected the request because your Social Wallet balance was insufficient.
If the bot asked you to upgrade or connect X, complete those steps and then post the request again.
Look in Activity → Notifications. An immediate public reply on X is not required for a valid request to be waiting in the app.
Can I cancel a tip?
You can cancel an outgoing request before sending it by tapping × in its notification. Cancelling an unsent request does not reverse any transaction already submitted on-chain.
Does tipping have a fee?
Sending a tip is a Dogecoin transaction and requires a network fee. Check the amount and fee before authorizing it, and leave enough DOGE in your selected sending wallet to cover both.
How do I get help?
Use MyDoge’s in-app support. Include your app version, the X post link and any public transaction ID that helps explain the issue. Never share your seed phrase, private key, backup password or verification codes with anyone offering to send or claim a tip for you.
