Q: What is the automatic fitment coverage service?

A: This free service is designed to automatically keep your listings up-to-date with the latest fitment. Automatic updates are applied based on your fitment coverage preferences. This service is only available for eBay Fitment Plus subscribers.

Q: Is this service actually FREE?

A: Yes, the service is free for Fitment Plus customers. To participate,

  1. Create an account on Myfitment.com

  2. Add your store (using your eBay store ID) to your Fitment Plus subscription

  3. Authenticate each ID

  4. Define your desired fitment coverage preferences

Q: What is the benefit of using this service?

A: Your listings will receive the same fitment benefits they currently do from myFitment, but without you having to spend time manually updating the information. Fitment updates are applied automatically based on your defined coverage preferences.

Q: I have multiple eBay stores. Can I still get automatic fitment updates?

A: Yes! The sign-up process is quick and simple:

  1. Log in to your Fitment Plus account

  2. Click "Get automatic fitment coverage for this store" on your home view

  3. Confirm the store that will receive automatic fitment updates

  4. Define desired fitment coverage preferences for your selected store

Q: How do I create rules for which listings get updated and how?

A: The same setting options for publishing fitment manually are available when setting up automatic updates for your listings. You can manage the automatic publishing settings under Profile / Automatic Fitment Coverage Preferences.

Q: Can I opt-out of the automatic update service?

A: Yes, you can opt-out any time to stop automatic fitment updates. All previous fitment updates will still apply to the listings, so nothing will be lost if you choose to pause or stop the automatic updates.There may be a delay of up to 2 business days between the request to opt-out and the end of the service.

Q: Does participation or cancellation of the automatic update service impact my FitmentPlus subscription?

A: No. This is a free add-on service to Fitment Plus, and it’s designed to make it easy to maximize your fitment coverage. If you decide to manually update your listings, you will still have access to the value that Fitment Plus provides.

Q: Who is responsible for the fitment that is added to my listings as part of this automated service?

A: Sellers are always responsible for the fitment associated with their listings and we encourage you to regularly review fitment to ensure it’s to your satisfaction. We suggest using myFitment’s tools to research and publish fitment manually to build confidence and familiarity, before signing up for automatic updates. You can adjust or cancel your level of participation at any point.

Q: How frequently will updates be applied if I participate in the service?

A: Update schedules will vary based on the number of participants and other variables. Participating in the program effectively adds your store to a queue that will be processed as quickly as possible, however, we cannot promise a fixed update schedule. You are welcome to use the myFitment platform to perform your own manual updates at any time.
