Once an experience is created, as a planner, you can edit the room allocations available within the accommodation. Log in with your username and password at mygocu.com
Once inside the platform, you will see the administration section with a side menu and a main panel. Choose the experience (trip or event) you want to edit to modify the accommodation allocations. Click on the experience and edit it by clicking the "pencil" icon next to the experience name.
Another way to edit the experience details is by navigating through the side menu under Experiences, Shared with me.
In the side menu of the next screen, click on Services to start editing the room allocations. In the "Accommodation" section, you will see the accommodations offered in the experience (trip or event). Click on the three dots to configure the allocations and select "Configure." A window will appear for configuring the accommodation.
In the window, the name of the accommodation you are editing will appear, along with a table showing all available allocations and the rooms available for sale to the end customer.
The first column corresponds to the room type based on its capacity; single, double, triple, etc. The next column shows the cost and price that the planner has defined previously.
This section only shows what you will offer to travelers accessing this specific trip. For example, if you have 20 double rooms at the "Las Palmas Resort," you can allow half of the doubles to be sold in this experience and block the other half to sell them in another trip where they are already committed. All the double rooms at "Las Palmas Resort" come from the same allocation, but with allocation management, you can block them to stop selling when reaching the limit you’ve set, in this case, 10 rooms.
Sold Column
Sold Column
This column shows how many of the rooms purchased by the planner have been sold so far. For this reason, before launching the experience (trip or event) for sale, it will always show 0. As sales begin, the number will increase until it reaches 5/5, at which point the Waitlist will be activated. The Waitlist is a practical tool that helps you collect valuable information when a type of accommodation is sold out and turn those inquiries into sales opportunities.
Continue Selling
Continue Selling
If you have sold the rooms that were previously blocked, you have two options: continue selling if there are still rooms available, or block further sales.

Decide if you want to display this in the experience (trips or events). For example, if you don’t want to sell the double rooms in this trip because they are committed to another trip, deactivate this option so they do not appear to the traveler.
The table can be modified and updates automatically as long as it does not conflict with rooms already sold.
If the experience organizer or planner wants to add a new custom allocation, they can do so by clicking on "Add Custom Allocation," from where they can choose the provider, with the dates of the trip they are currently editing the allocation for, the property management company if applicable, the type of allocation (room, studio, apartment, etc.), the number of rooms purchased from the accommodation provider, the capacity, the rate plan, the purchase price, and the selling price.
