Your warehouse likely has a variety of roles to fill, ranging from supervisor to picker. With Logiwa, it is simple to define these roles and the permissions associated with them. This article will walk you through the process.

Step-by-Step Guide

  • To begin, navigate to Roles.

    • If you cannot find the screen, please use the Search option on the menu bar.

  • Click Add Role in the upper right corner of the screen.

  • The Add Role sidebar will open. The fields you'll fill in initially are explained below.

Field

Description

Name*

Name for this role. Required.

Description*

Additional description for this role. Can be identical to the previous field. Required.

User Type*

Select Client or Operation from the dropdown.

  • Client: Member of a client you handle.

  • Operation: Member of your operation.

  • Once you've entered the required information, you can add access to the various screens/sections of Logiwa. Click the gray bars to expand the available option.

  • For this example, we'll give this role permission to use the Mobile (Picking) screen.

  • Select Mobile from the list of screens.

  • Scroll down to the Picking section.

  • You can now choose which permissions on the Picking (Mobile) screen this role will have. You can check each option manually, or select the box next to Picking (Mobile) to select all options.

  • Please be aware that clicking Save will finalize the role and take you out of this menu. If you wish to add permissions for multiple screens, please select options from the other menus first.

  • The number of permissions you've added per screen will be indicated by a number next to the screen name.

  • Continue adding permissions until you're satisfied with the total. When you're finished, click Save to add the role.

  • A confirmation message will appear when the role has been added successfully.
