Region & member blocking

How do I block a region?

In Settings, you will see options for blocking US states, Canadian provinces and entire countries.

Can I block my own region?

Yes, you can block your own region in Settings > Blocked regions. In fact, that's what most people use the blocking for. Any IP address that you log into the admin from will automatically be added to your whitelist. This ensures that you will not be blocked when viewing your site if you are in a blocked region.

If you open your site as a visitor or member (not logged into the admin) and find you are blocked, auto-whitelist does not apply — add that IP manually under Settings > IP whitelist.

Blocking people with accounts

You can block people via Settings > Blocked members. On this page, you can select individual user accounts to block. Search by name or the email on that account, then click the member and they will be blocked. You can also block members via the menu bar in the live chat or member details pages:

Explore adult payment processors, create and sell adult content, maximize earnings from adult content with e-commerce solutions. Licensing and rights for adult content, porn servers, selling adult content, clips for sale, make money with an adult website. Webcam modeling, cam models, fan club websites, upload and stream adult content. Discover how much cam girls make and explore opportunities to sell and make money from adult content.

There is no separate "block this email address" list. The closest option is blocking the member account (search by name or email as above), or adding a known IP to the IP blacklist.

If the member still has an active membership and the block fails, contact support — do not cancel the membership yourself and then try to block.

IP whitelist

The IP whitelist allows certain IP addresses through any blocks. Logging into the admin auto-adds that IP. Viewing the site only as a visitor or member does not.

Blocking by IP address

Blocking via specific IP address can be done in Settings > IP blacklist. Click Add to blacklist, then add the user's IP address. Please note that this is never 100% effective, as the person may visit from another IP address or VPN.

What is an IP address?

An IP address is a unique address that identifies a computer on the internet. You can read more on IP addresses here.

What do blocked people see?

People with a blocked IP address, a blocked member account, or visiting from within a blocked region will see a simple "error" page which does not give any indication that they are blocked. If they reach out to support, we will make a judgement call about how we respond based on why they are blocked.

Here's what they will see:

I've blocked my region, but I can see my site

This could be that your IP address has already been added to your IP whitelist. When you log into the admin, that IP will automatically be whitelisted. It could also be that the IP you are using is considered to be from a region that you have not yet blocked.
