To help protect our customers from international scam calls, MyRepublic now offers an option to block or unblock incoming international calls for Broadband Fixed Line users. This feature is especially helpful if you don’t expect calls from international numbers.
How to Set Up Blocking for International Calls
When Signing Up for a New Home Voice Plan:
During the signup process, you'll be asked to Select Your Home Voice Plan.
Choose from one of the following options:
Tick the checkbox to enable blocking. The block will be activated once your Voice Service is set up.
Via the MyRepublic Mobile App:
1. Check the Current Status of Your Fixed Line:
Open the MyRepublic Mobile App.
Select your Broadband account (if it’s not already displayed).
Go to the Account section at the bottom of the app.
Tap Block International Calls.
2. To Block International Incoming Calls:
Go to Account > Block International Calls.
Toggle the switch to ON to block international calls.
You’ll receive an email confirmation once the block is applied.
3. To Unblock International Incoming Calls:
You’ll receive an email confirmation once the block is removed.
