How to Set Up Blocking for International SMS / Calls
When Signing Up for a Mobile Plan:
On the "Review" page of the of the Order Portal, customers may select the services that they wish to block before clicking on the "Confirm" button to complete the order. Customers may select from the following:
Block International Calls & SMS:
None
Calls Only
SMS Only
Both Calls & SMS
Via the MyRepublic Mobile App:
Upon activation of the mobile service, customers may select the services they wish to block on the Mobile App by toggling on the enable/disable button. Customers may select from the following options:
Block Calls from International Numbers
Block SMS from International Numbers
After making the selection, customers will be receiving a confirmation of the Enable/Disable request with the confirmation prompt on the Mobile App. Processing the request will take approximately 24 hours to take effect.
Important Notes:
*For 4G customers, international voice calls will be blocked within 24h, and SMSes within 2 working days.
*For 5G customers, international voice calls and SMSes will be blocked within 24h.
