Installing a 2nd Termination Point (TP)
Updated over 7 months ago

NetLinkTrust has introduced a new policy allowing customers to apply for a 2nd or 3rd termination point at their residence. Here's what you need to know:

  1. When do I need a 2nd termination point?

    • You can request a 2nd TP when at least one active fibre broadband connection of the 1st TP is in use.

    • You can request a 3rd TP when at least one active fibre broadband connection of the 1st TP and at least one active fibre broadband connection of the 2nd TP are in use.

  2. Is there any alternative beside installing a 2nd TP?

    • If one of the ports of your existing TP can be released (e.g., no longer in use/needed), you won't need a 2nd TP.

  3. How do I request to release one of the ports?

    • You can terminate your fibre subscription with your internet service provider (ISP).

    • Get the port release date from your ISP and update us.

    • We'll monitor based on the furnished port release date and arrange an installation appointment once the port is released.

  4. If a 2nd TP is needed, what do I need to do?

    • Once it's confirmed that a 2nd TP is required, we'll arrange two appointments:

      • NLT appointment for the installation of the 2nd TP.

      • MyRepublic appointment for service installation.

  5. How much will I be charged for the 2nd TP installation?

    • For service addresses falling under COPIF 2013:

      • High-rise residences: $197.77

      • Landed premises: $357.74

    • For service addresses not under COPIF 2013:

      • High-rise residences: $182.03

      • Landed premises: $333.54
