Termination of Broadband Service

To cancel your broadband service, the primary subscriber must notify us via Chat between 7 and 30 days before the desired termination date. Please provide the following information:

  • The desired termination date for your service.

  • Subscriber’s full name, NRIC/FIN number, and service address.

  • Preferred date and time for ONT (Optical Network Terminal) collection.

  • Reason for service termination.

👉 Please note, we need all the information listed above to process your request. Without it, we're unable to move forward.

Once we begin processing your termination request, it cannot be reversed. Additionally, terminating your fibre broadband will also end any related services, such as home voice.

Home Voice Number Porting

If you plan to transfer your current home voice number to another provider, your service must stay active. Once the number is successfully transferred, you can then request to terminate your fibre broadband and home voice services.

👉 Please note, that terminating the number port service for a number that has been ported to MyRepublic may result in a fee of $49.91.

Return of Equipment

These are the equipment that are required to be returned:-

1. Alcatel Lucent/ Nokia modem
2. Patch Cord
3. Power cable
4. LAN cable

If you purchased any router with MyRepublic, it's yours to keep.

👉 Note: If you miss your first equipment collection appointment, you will be charged $183.38 for equipment loss, but this fee will be waived if you return the equipment within two weeks of the termination date or one week from the first missed appointment, whichever is sooner.

Final Bill

  • During Contract: Termination incurs a fee of your monthly subscription multiplied by the remaining contract months.

  • Off Contract: A full monthly subscription will be billed through to the end of the billing cycle.

  • No-Contract Plan: You will be charged your full monthly subscription until the billing cycle ends.

  • Final Bill: Post-termination, covers outstanding charges like call fees, equipment loss, etc.
