⚠️ Important: 3G Services Ending on 31st July 2024.
Upgrade to a 4G/5G device now!
Starting 31st July 2024, all mobile operators in Singapore, including MyRepublic, will stop offering 3G services. This change aims to provide you with faster, more reliable 4G and 5G networks.
Who will be affected?
Customers with 3G-only devices.
Customers with 4G non-VoLTE devices.
Customers who have set their network mode to 3G.
Impacted Services
You may be affected if you are using a 3G-only device, a 4G non-VoLTE device, or have manually set your network to 3G. In these cases, your data, voice, and SMS services will be impacted after the 3G shutdown.
Note: Availability of 3G network outside Singapore may vary in network coverage and serviceability.
How to Know if You're on 3G
The below icons will help you understand if your device is connected to the 3G network.
If your device doesn’t support 4G with VoLTE, please upgrade to a compatible 4G/5G device with VoLTE support before July 31st 2024 to avoid any impact on your mobile services.
Is My Device Compatible?
You can refer to your device manual or contact the manufacturer to learn about your device’s compatibility with 4G, VoLTE, and 5G.
🙌 Good News! If you have a 4G VoLTE or 5G phone with the right settings, no action is required.
