Upscaling enhances the resolution and clarity of your images, making them sharper, more detailed, and suitable for high-quality prints and digital use. This guide walks you through the process and explains when to use upscaling versus vectorization.
Important: You Cannot Upscale a Vectorized Image
π Note: Vector graphics are resolution-independent, meaning they can be resized without losing quality. Since upscaling is only for raster images, you cannot upscale a vectorized image.
If youβve already removed the background from your image, MysticPOD will preserve that edit when upscaling, ensuring a clean, transparent result without further adjustments.

Upscale vs. Vectorize: Which One Should You Choose?
Both Upscaling and Vectorization enhance images, but they serve different purposes:
πΉ Upscale (For Enhancing Details & Resolution)
Increases pixel resolution, making images sharper and more detailed.
Best for photos, AI-generated art, and raster images that need higher quality.
Keeps the image in raster format (JPG/PNG).
Ideal for high-resolution printing and digital displays.
πΉ Vectorize (For Scalability & Sharpness)
Converts the image into scalable vector graphics (SVGs).
Best for logos, icons, and designs with clean lines.
Ensures the image can be resized without loss of quality.
Ideal for merchandise, branding, and print materials.
π‘ Tip: If you need higher resolution and detail, choose Upscale.
If you need infinitely scalable graphics, choose Vectorize.
