Get to know the Trev app

A high level summary of the iOS and Android Trev app's features and functionality.

Written by Michaela Lowry

Trev's native app complements the Trev web app and offer farm teams the ability to:

  • Record and manage farm information on the go using Quick Add.

  • Make reporting a team effort by allowing the wider farm team to add, review and edit events, with farm managers or reporters reviewing and approving entries.

  • Work offline when you’re out of reception, with your changes syncing once you’re back online.

  • Upload photos and files directly to events, including feed receipts, treatment records and paddock photos.

  • Stay on top of everyday farm activities including stock and feed, Animal Health treatments, Timesheets and Tasks.

  • Access farm information while you’re out on farm using the Map, Feed Wedge, paddock information and Calendar.

Home Screen

When you log in to the Trev app you'll be taken to the Home screen. From here you can quickly, view Tasks, access Trev weekly reports, sync your Trev app and view Events.

Map

The Map section of the app lets you view the farm map from your mobile device and easily access paddock information and map features.

Calendar

The Calendar section lets you check any past, present, or future events on the farm. Perfect to keep track of what's coming up or looking back at events for auditing purposes.

Tasks

View all tasks for your farm/s, including those assigned to you, to others, and those which have already been completed.

Quick Add

The Quick Add (+) button works just like it does on the Trev Web app so that you can create “draft” events on the go without entering the weekly report process. The options you see depend on the features turned on for your farm and your user permissions.

Most standard farm events can be added as draft events for your reporting workflow, while features such as Timesheets and Animal Health have their own recording and submission processes.
